Scott D. Pretzer, DVM, DACT
Scott D. Pretzer is a veterinary clinician at Abilene Animal Hospital, specializing in companion animal reproduction with a special interest in canine soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska. His doctorate was earned from Kansas State University. Dr. Pretzer has specialized training from Securos in cranial cruciate ligament repair and AO/ASIF surgical fixation of fractures from Ohio State University. He has also received training in the area of canine trans-cervical insemination.
Dr. Pretzer is licensed in the states of Kansas and Nebraska. He is a member of the Society for Theriogenology (SFT) and the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Pretzer recently completed a 3 year term on the board of directors for SFT. In 2007, Dr. Pretzer became a diplomate in the American College of Theriogenologists and is considered a specialist in animal reproduction.
Dr. Pretzer is on the board of directors for the Society for Theriogenology and in 2007 became a diplomate in the American College of Theriogenologists and is considered a specialist in animal reproduction.
