Steven C. Henry
Steven C. Henry is veterinary clinician in general practice at Abilene Animal Hospital, PA. He specializes in swine and population medicine.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University. His doctorate was also earned from Kansas State University. While completing his doctorate, Dr. Henry served as a fellow at Morris Animal Foundation. He was also appointed as a diplomate in swine health management to the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
Dr. Henry is licensed in the states of Kansas, Illinois, Nebraska, and Arkansas. He is a member of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians, American Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, and the National Academy of Practice, Veterinary Medicine.
In 2002, Dr. Henry received the Distinguished Veterinary Alumnus Award from Kansas State University. During that year, he also was awarded the Howard W. Dunne Memorial Award from the American Association of Swine Veterinarians. During his career, Dr. Henry has also been presented with the Allen D. Leman Science in Practice Award, Allied Industry Award from the Kansas Pork Producers Council, Swine Practitioner of the Year from the American Association of Swine Practitioners, and the Joseph A. Bogue Memorial Award from Kansas State University.
